After crash, no save files

Just reported a crash around placing and trying to edit a mountain! I logged back on hopeful that the "every 20 minutes" option I selected for autosave, had kept my last 3 hours of work. (I got distracted building a continent but trusted the autosave had me). It didn't. I double checked when I got back and found no autosaves were done for the 3 hour sessions.
