Auto tiles don't work for Mountain, Coastal and Water

Select any of Mountain, Coastal, or Water Select Radius mode Select "Auto Tiles" Attempt to draw a region to be populated. Result: No region is selected / nothing happens. Expected behavior: A region is able to be selected and is populated with tiles in the appropriate fashion.
